NCAA Football Spring Evaluation News to Know!

Friday April 15 was the first day that NCAA Division I and II football coaches were permitted to visit high schools and junior colleges for the Spring “Evaluation Period.”

The dates that college coaches will be making these “evaluation” visits will vary from one college to another. That’s because they are allowed to set their own schedule as long as they don’t exceed the number of days or weeks that they are allowed during the period between April 15 and the end of May.

Face-to-face contact is not permitted between a football coach and a prospect or the prospect’s family members during this period unless the contact occurs on the college campus.

IA_University2015Every month, we publish recruiting calendars for the upcoming 2 months in all NCAA sports.  The calendar includes a summary of important things to know for the upcoming month and definitions of recruiting periods (dead, quiet, evaluation, and contact).  The calendars are a benefit of membership in Informed Athlete University.
