Confusing July NCAA Recruiting Calendars in Division I Basketball

If your sport is basketball, you may want to consider becoming a member of Informed Athlete University, where you receive the NCAA recruiting calendars for the upcoming two months at the beginning of each month.

July is a prime example of the benefit of having these calendars in advance for your planning purposes as there are 5 different recruiting periods for women’s basketball and 8 different periods in men’s basketball.

For example, if you happen to be visiting a Division I campus on a late afternoon in July, a men’s basketball coach may be permitted to visit with you prior to 5 PM, but not after 5 PM, depending upon the particular date.
