New NCAA Recruiting Opportunities

As of January 1, high school juniors who are being recruited by NCAA Division I men’s basketball programs can now be provided an official visit to a Division I campus.

However, keep in mind that you can only take one official visit to any particular campus, so if you are offered an official visit this Spring, you may want to wait until next Fall to visit a campus after all of the summer basketball recruiting events.

January 1 also brings about an opportunity for NCAA Division I men’s hockey coaches to place recruiting phone calls and send recruiting correspondence to high school sophomores.
